Obituary of Bradley Joe Riggs

Bradley Joe Riggs, age 61, passed away on April 5, 2024, in Ardmore, Okla. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, April 12, 2024, in The Chapel of Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home. Brad was born in Forrest City, Ark., on April 7, 1962, to J.E. Riggs and Martha (Robbins) Riggs. He attended Ardmore City Schools and then Lone Grove Schools where he met his wife, Debbie Brawley and the couple married on August 12, 1979, which ended in 2006. He went to work in the Oil Field working on pulling units and retiring as a pumper. Brad liked riding motorcycles, fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was the ultimate sports Dad, he proudly coached his kids and grandkids in all school sports. His grandchildren will remember him as a great Pawpaw, his friends and family will remember him for his one-of-a-kind personality, his jokes, his selflessness and giving heart and how devoted he was to his dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, J.E. Riggs, and his K9 companions, Layla and Molly. Brad is survived by his mother, Martha (Robbins) Culver, daughter, Erica Eads and husband, Ryan, son, B.J. Riggs, and Fiancé, Brittany, four grandsons: Andon Riggs, Tyson Riggs, Dax Riggs, and Brody Warren, and brother, John Riggs and wife, Lisa.
